‘A Games’ success

On Thursday 18th January we held our annual ‘A’ Games Festival (Alternative Games). Our aim for this festival is to increase participation, encourage healthy lifestyles and inspire all young people to benefit from the positive values of physical activity and sport. Therefore this event is non-competitive and is aimed at those pupils who are maybe reluctant to take part in PE and sport in year 4, 5 and 6.
Pupils from, St Marychurch, Priory, Our Lady of the Angels, Homelands and St Margarets attended the festival taking part in activities like, Trampolining, Wave boarding, Table Tennis and Orienteering, with all students having light refreshments at the end and receiving a water bottle and certificate for attending.
Thank you to all St Cuthbert Mayne students who helped lead the events on the day.
