St Cuthbert Mayne Business Studies students were once again taken on a trip to the ‘City that never sleeps’ this Easter holiday with an educational visit to New York City. 28 students and staff took in the sights and sounds of the ‘Big Apple’ whilst visiting many famous attractions including the Statue of Liberty, Empire state building and 9/11 memorial.
As well as being educational, the successful trip also gave students the opportunity to learn about this exciting city whilst grasping the chance to catch a basketball game at Madison Square Gardens and watching Miss Saigon on Broadway.
Miss Tombs, Head of Business studies at St Cuthbert Mayne who arranged the trip, described how ‘students were mesmerised with the city in both an educational and enjoyable way. For some students this was their first trip abroad, and what a way to start! An amazing time was had by all’.
