03 Mar Professional Basketball Coaching at St Cuthbert Mayne

St Cuthbert Mayne had the rare opportunity of getting a professional basketball coach in to lead a session. The 14 boys in year 7,8 and 9 were put through their paces with dribbling, shooting and defensive drills. After some basic drills the boys had some timed shooting activities which put them under pressure to shoot quickly and accurately. The session ended with a competitive game which show cased the huge progress the boys made in a very short period of time.

A special thank you to local organisation ‘Love Basketball’ (Nathan) who came and led the session for us.
