23 Feb World Book Day 2018

It’s World Book Day on 1^st of March and as usual the Library is planning lots of fun events to celebrate all things to do with books and reading.  Here is the run-down of the activities going on:

• Every student in school will receive a World Book Day token, which can be used to get a free book from a selection of books especially published for World Book Day, or £1 off any book you would like to buy.  These can be redeemed at all good book shops.
• Design a Doctor Who Alien Competition (Top trumps style – entry sheets will be available from the library)
• Guess the Book – Visual Clues competition. Entry forms available in the library.
• Dress up as a book character for World Book Day (Thurs) – a whole school event including member of staff. Prizes for the best costumes.
• Doctor Who themed PARTY  – On World Book Day, Thursday 1st of March, we will be hosting a Doctor Who themed party in the Library for our Accelerated Reader Target achievers and Word Millionaires. Look out for the TARDIS invites in your registers on Monday.

• Other smaller Doctor Who themed competitions will be running in the library at breaktime and lunchtime throughout the week.

Lots of great Doctor Who merchandise and chocolates to be won!!!
