The sixth-form environment is age-appropriate and stimulating. The students respect it and teachers use the space proficiently.
Leaders set aspirational targets for students who show determination to succeed. Effective tracking systems are used in the sixth form. If students are not keeping up with their studies, they are mentored and monitored closely until they are back on track. Students commented on their appreciation of this.
Teaching in the sixth form is good. Teachers provide challenge and support to maximise progress. Welfare staff give food support. Students are guided to the right courses and all find appropriate education, training or employment when they leave.

I feel part of a family in the 6th Form; the environment and atmosphere makes me happy to come in everyday to achieve my best.
I love it here. The support I get from teachers, especially for my UCAS application, make me grateful to come to this 6th Form.

Studying BTEC was always the best option for me as I prefer the coursework element. I have never performed well with exams and I like knowing my working grade after each unit.
