22 Apr Construction Industry Training Board Visit

A group of Year 8 and 9 students attended the annual CITB Build event at South Devon College to take part in taster sessions in a variety of construction activities. The students’ day ended with the ‘egg-drop’ challenge which involved designing a ‘parachute’ to protect an egg falling from a high scaffold.

A great day was had by all students, and the students gained an insight into construction careers.
