Creative Writing Day

Sixteen lucky students were invited by the National Trust and Exeter University to attend a Creative Writing Day at Greenway the home of legendary crime writer, Agatha Christie. Christie was born in Torquay and is internationally famous for her detectives Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot. The students worked with professional writer Tamara Sharp who is currently submitting her PHD to University fellows as well as finishing her own fictional novel. Students will submit their own writing from the day to Tamara, who will then publish it through a free Publishing App. Students were able to research the house and use it for a stimulus for their writing. Greenway is situated on the banks of the river Dart and has an idyllic and peaceful location for those who would like to visit.
