A Level Results Day – Thursday 13th August
A level and Level 3 Btec and Cambridge Technical Exams results will be available for collection from the school on the above date. Due to Social Distancing we are asking students to collect during their allocated time slot.
Entrance to the school should be made via the 6th form gate, from where you will be directed to queue using 2 metre social distancing rules. Please see the time slots below depending on the first initial of your last name (legal surname):
9.00 am to 9.30 am A to G
9.30 am to 10.00am H to L
10.00am to 10.30am M to R
10.30am to 11.00am S to Z
Where possible please try to keep to the above time slots to avoid unnecessary delays and queuing times.
We all recognise that this has been an exceptionally difficult year for our students who were due to take exams. In the circumstances, we think that everything possible has been done to ensure that students receive grades that are fair and equitable. When your son/daughter collects their results, we will set out how we will discuss with you any individual cases where it is necessary to lodge an appeal, or if your son/daughter wants to consider sitting for an exam in the Autumn in particular subjects because they feel they can improve the grade awarded. We will explore with you in such cases the potential benefits, and potential loss of focus on the new courses they may by then by studying.
If you have any school equipment, eg chromebooks, text books or locker keys, please bring these items of equipment with you, as failure to bring school equipment may delay the issue of your results.
