Year 7 Afternoon Tea Drop-In on Tuesday 16th October

Message from Mr Horrocks, Head of Year 7:

Dear Parent/Carer,

As your child is nearing the end of their first half term at St Cuthbert Mayne School, the tutors and I felt it would be a nice opportunity to have an informal, afternoon drop in session where parents, students and tutors could all share in a cup of tea/coffee and share how the first half term has been.

The purpose of the afternoon drop in is to be able to meet your child’s tutor, perhaps say hello to your children’s new friends parents and see some of the fantastic events and activities your son/daughter have already been involved with. In attendance at the drop in we hope to have members of staff from attendance, medical/first aid, our SEN department and our Senior Leadership Team as well as our tutors and  school Chaplain.

The Afternoon tea will run on Tuesday 16th October between 4-5pm and will be held in our Sixth Form Common Room. There are no appointments and you can stay for the whole hour or just drop in quickly to say hello. There will be refreshments including tea and coffee, cakes, scones and nibbles for us to enjoy. If you are likely to attend please could I ask you return the reply slip from the letter I’ve sent out by Friday 12th October to let our catering staff know in advance of potential numbers.

I hope to see all of you there on the afternoon and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the school.

Kind regards,

Mr C. Horrocks

Head of Year 7
