Torbay Holiday Helpers Network

This year 11CJG tutor group of St Cuthbert Mayne school have raised a eye watering £875 for Torbay Holiday Helpers Network along with £70 for Sports Relief.
To raise this amount of money the tutor group along with Mr Gibson the form tutor have arranged a variety of events such as running a marathon of 26 miles (1 Mile each), naming a giant teddy bear and even involving the South West sporting clubs and local restaurants who have donated tickets and vouchers to be auctioned for the charity.
11CJG have been great supporters of local charities since starting at St Cuthbert Mayne in 2012 having already supported Macmillan and Animals in Distress. With this years amount the tutor group have raised almost £2500 for charitable causes.
On the 11th October the school was visited by Martin Brook (Director) who received the cheque and made a presentation on behalf of Torbay Holiday Helpers Network.
