Applying For Year 7 Admission

 

Read the Prospectus

 

Obtain the Torbay TIPS 8 booklet containing the application forms. This is available from your child’s school, or Torbay Council. Apply online if possible.

 

Complete the standard Torbay Application Form (CAF1) and return it to your child’s primary school (see instructions on the bottom of the form) by 30th October.

 

You should also complete the Supplementary Information Form for St Cuthbert Mayne if you are applying for a place with us on religious grounds. Please return this form along with a copy of your child’s Baptism certificate to the Admissions Officer at St Cuthbert Mayne School by 30th October.

On receipt of the Supplementary Information Form the school will send a Religious Affiliation Form (together with a copy of your Supplementary Information Form) to your Parish Priest, Vicar or Minister for them to complete and return to us.

 

You will be notified by Torbay Local Authority of the decision concerning your application on 2nd March 2018 – National Allocation Day.

How to Apply for a Place During The School Year (Years 7-11)

 

To apply for places within the academic year please contact the school directly through the Admissions Assistant, Mrs Helen Sivyer, (Tel 01803 328725), who will send you an Application form and a copy of the Admissions Criteria. These are the same as those published above.
