Core Values

Governors of a voluntary-aided church school are responsible for contributing towards the cost of running the school and this includes a proportion of new building work. In order to fund this the Governors have to raise money for our extensive programme of refurbishment and redecoration.

To assist us, the Government makes available an annual sum for repairs and refurbishment, provided the governors can find 10% of the cost. For us this represents excellent value for money as it means that for every £100 we raise the Government gives us a further £900.

In order to achieve this, families of our students are asked to make an annual/termly contribution to the Development Fund. This year the suggested annual donation per family is £40. This can be paid either as a lump sum or in termly instalments of 2 x £15 and 1 x £10.

If you are a taxpayer you can also complete a Gift Aid declaration which enables us to claim back any tax on donations at no extra cost to you. For every £1 that you donate, we can get an extra 28p from H.M Revenue and Customs. Please see the link to the Gift Aid form below.

This a voluntary contribution but we hope that you will see this as a good way to support the school. Please see below a link to the relevant forms for completion and return to the school’s Finance Office.

The Governors would like you to thank parents for their contributions so far. Please click the link to see recent refurbishments that your money has been used to fund.
