Welcome to St Cuthbert Mayne School!

I would like to welcome you to St Cuthbert Mayne School.  I am very proud to be the Headteacher of our school and to work with our amazing staff and students.  Our dedicated staff are focused on creating an inspirational and caring learning environment in which all of students can live life to the full both now and in future.

In the summer term we will be very busy getting ready to welcome you to our school community in September. As part of our transition programme we will be contacting your Primary School to make plans to visit you in your school, or via video conference if we aren’t able to meet you in person. We will be sharing with you some important information about our school and the exciting journey we are on. This will help prepare you for September. We will also be speaking to your class teacher to get up to speed on all of the necessary academic and pastoral information, which will allow us to plan a thorough, informative and smooth transition programme for you. You should also check out our amazing Summer School, which is run by The Big Step, which is designed to really help you settle in to life at St Cuthbert Mayne.

On Thursday 6^th July we will be running our Year 6 Transition Day. This is a really important day to get a feel of what learning is like at St Cuthbert Mayne and try some of the delicious food in our amazing new Canteen!

We will be updating this transition section of the website regularly so we can help you to get a flavour of what life is like at St Cuthbert Mayne.
