On Wednesday 7^th February, we took 49 students to Weston Super Mare to watch the award winning musical, Blood Brothers. The trip was an important part of the GCSE course for the year 10’s and we also took some year 9 students as a reward for their hard work and dedication in drama. The students were very excited leading up to the event, with many not knowing the musical or even visited a theatre before.

All students were very well behaved and were a credit to the school. They were all engaged with the performance, and there were lots of tears! We even got to meet the leading actor, Sean Jones – thanks for arranging that Ms McAughtry!

 Big thank you to Mr Davey, Mr Ashington and Ms McAughtry for accompanying the students on the trip – it was a huge success.
