14 Jul Mascot Mania

Year 7’s second inter-form competition of the summer took the form of a Junk Mascot Competition. Pupils were tasked to design, build and present a mascot that represented their tutor group using nothing but recyclable materials. These were used at sports day.  2 weeks was the allocated time and every tutor group excelled themselves. We had panda’s, frogs and elephants made from recyclable materials – they all looked brilliant and enabled the tutees to work hard as a team. It was down to me to choose a winner which took much time and deliberation.

The winners this time were 7NRG.

Next year we have inter-form competitions in cooking, art and sport. The themes are yet to be decided…
