Rosie’s Amazing Alphabet

We have been very lucky this year to have year 11 art student Rosie working with us to produce a colourful giant 3D alphabet for the library.  The giant, painted cardboard letters have been made by Mrs Dennis and each uniquely painted by Rosie.  My favourites are the ‘J’ for joker and ‘R’ for Rose.  We have placed them on top of our fiction shelves to help students with searching for books.  Huge thanks to Rosie!  If you haven’t seen our alphabet then do pop down to the library to have a look.

The fiction books are stored on the shelves in alphabetical order by Author surname.   If you need help to find a book then please ask at the library desk and we’ll be happy to help you.  We can also show you how to use our online catalogue search system – Eclipse.net.

We have our termly book exchange taking place after half term.  If you have any book requests then pop into the library and add them to the request wall, we’ll do our best to get them in!
